I was also in a serious car accident in which the van rolled. I had an ectopic pregnancy/uterine twin loss with emergency surgery WHILE he was going through chemo, and just prior to his first diagnosis (but he was very sick) we lost a son at 40 weeks and I nearly died. I have lost all my family (they have been really terrible) and had many many other serious things happen to us in the last five years. I can't imagine how we'd survive this without the Lord. We have autistic children as well, btw.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6625063692016394794.post-53740543955664790892012-08-23T07:18:14.655-07:002012-08-23T07:18:14.655-07:00These are some deep thoughts. Thank you Vanessa! ...These are some deep thoughts. Thank you Vanessa! IT reminds me of Jesus near the end of his life on earth, telling his followers, "I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now..." I'll wager it has to do with suffering. Jesus' brother got it , however...and we can read his words in his letter: "consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kids, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."<br />And then, Jesus reminds us in John 16:33-" These things I have spoken to you, that in me, you might have peace; in the world you will have many troubles; but take courage, I have overcome the world."<br />Praying for you!Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01728356348571380317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6625063692016394794.post-38062774000924559512012-07-31T05:59:43.674-07:002012-07-31T05:59:43.674-07:00My favorite book which was instrumental in helping...My favorite book which was instrumental in helping me find my vocation.
